I basically gave my bedroom a facelift 😂😂😂 bought a few things, painted one wall using Stonington gray from home depot, bought a plant, and moved some things around.
I’ve struggled for nearly two years with trying to decorate my bedroom. I had so many brilliant ideas before moving into my first apartment last year, but once I moved in, I felt defeated and didn’t know which way to go with decorating. I think this was because I wasn’t clear on the vision I wanted. I was also spending way too much time looking at other people’s ideas, spending a large amount of time on Pinterest, and became overwhelmed.
I originally wanted a bright clean space, everything all white, and still cozy. There wasn’t anything that I LOVED enough or thought was worth buying. You see, the problem is when it comes to home items … my eyes always gravitate towards the items that cost way too much. Everything I loved happened to be crazily expensive and I was not for it! So I started looking for items that were also very nice but moderately priced and great quality.
Fast forward to me making my first time-lapse cleaning video a few weeks ago on instagram! It was then I realized ( & so did you guys) oh no girl, you have to change this. It was so bland looking.
So while we are quarantined, I’ve made decorating my main focus. I am slowly but surely doing a bedroom makeover. Check out some of the photos of the progress so far. Here you can also find links to all the items.

My Favorite Thing in My Home …
Is this plant !! LOL I’ve been stalking it for quite sometime now and I finally just gave in and bought it. I also wanted a plant that was very very very tall and over 6″. I’m 5’2 and this plant is OVER 6 feet tall.
