I live for an aesthetically pleasing cafe. Last week, I visited MACLAB located in Duluth, Georgia, for the one-millionth time. Or so it feels that way lol. I’ve been here so many times, but this time, I decided to document my enjoyable experience. If you are located in the city of Atlanta, it’s definitely worth the 20-25 minute drive.
What Keeps me Coming Back?
I love the vibe that I get from MacLab. Being an entrepreneur, I am always looking for a calm, relaxing, cafe vibe where I can plug my headphones in and tune out the rest of the world. This location gives just that, and they have the cutest sitting section with beautiful plants and a cute little coffee table. I also love how each table has an outlet, in most cafes, I feel like your struggling to find one outlet, so this relieves some of the worries. Anywho, not only is this place aesthetically pleasing, but it also offers a wide selection of tasty macarons and refreshing various drinks.
I usually like for the barista to suggest what’s popular at the moment when it comes to ordering my drink. And every time, I’ve Ioved all of the suggestions. This week I tried the Mint Mojito Iced Coffee. If you’re not a fan of mint and coffee mixed, this may not be the one for you, but they have a ton of other drinks options.
I’ll admit, before I discovered this location, I was NEVER a fan of Macarons. What made me attracted to them were all the pretty colors, exciting flavor options, and the attractive designs on some of them. I also love the texture of these macarons. They are a little chewy and slightly soft. Pretty much, after one bite you kind of almost need another bite lol.
What did I order?
As mentioned before, For a drink I ordered the Mint Mojito Iced Coffee, price $4.75. This one is the most expensive specialty drink on their menu. Prices range from $4.35 – $4.75 for specialty drinks. For all other beverages, the prices start at $ 1.95, not bad at all!!!!
For six macarons the price totaled: $ 13.20, For 12 the cost is $26.40
